Name: Catch ... yeah s'weird, but cool.
Age: the later end of college years
I'm Studying: Nursing and International Health
I work as: A dual-degree undergrad at Georgetown Univeristy, an EMT, a student guard, and a Physical Therapy Aide
Random things about me: I have volunteered in Africa, and once I get out of school and have the money, that is where I will be spending the rest of my life (helping bring medical care to remote and dangerous areas). I speak French, English, some Swahili (still learning), and some Spanish (teaching myself). I was a ballet dancer for 15 years and thought that was gonna be my career, until a little knee surgery made me switch it up. My father is an unbelievably amazing writer. I love to write, but never do it on time when it's required of me (e.g., patient care plans, school papers, job applications, etc).
I come from a big family. I'm from NY originally, and say things like tawk (talk), bawston (boston), chawcolate (chocolate), and cawwfee (coffee). Africa (its languages, people, culture, etc) is my passion. I tend to lack a filter between my brain and my mouth. Bad days and good days alike are a cause for painting, writing, and dancing. I am completely nocturnal.
Oh, and I believe that I can change the world.
The coolest thing I've done in the past few months is speak, in an amalgamation of Swahili/French/English to the exiled King of Rwanda. That, and I got to take care of some adorable babies in the NICU (think: tiny!... born at 24 weeks kinda tiny...)
